I'm at NAIST from April 2017.
I had been a researcher at NTT Communication Science Laboratories from April 2002 to March 2017.
I received the following degrees from Kyoto University: Bachelor of Engineering (2000), Master of Informatics (2002), and Ph. D. (2015)
I'm interested in natural language processing, especially in machine translation and spoken language.

I'm an enthusiast for cameras and fountain pens :-)

  • I'm going to EMNLP 2017 & WMT 2017 at Copenhagen!
  • A co-authored paper "Tree as a Pivot: Syntactic Matching Methods in Pivot Translation" has been accepted by the 2nd Conference on Machine Translation, co-located conference of EMNLP 2017! This work was done mainly by Mr. Akiva Miura, a Ph.D student in our laboratory.
